Franziska Klotz (*1979, Dresden) studied costume and stage design at the Academy of Fine Arts, Dresden (1999) and painting at the Weißensee Academy of Art, Berlin (2000-2006). In 2006 she was awarded the Max Ernst Award from the City of Brühl.

Recent exhibitions include Kulturforum Schorndorf; Haus am Lützowplatz, Berlin; Bauart Galeri, Istanbul; CODEX-Berlin; IV Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, Moscow and the Iran Contemporary Art Biennale, Tehran.

She lives and works in Berlin.
