Eva Beresin | Out of the studio

Following Eva Beresin’s solo exhibition "Achtundneunzig Seiten" – work is under way on bringing this exhibition to another venue and on translating the exhibition book – we have put together new works from her studio, as well as some from previous years, for this exhibition at Galerie Charim Events. The new small-format works, which refer to Freud, Hockney and Hopper, have a lightness in both brushwork and subject matter. They are juxtaposed with large gestural paintings full of colour and verve, and with a series of portraits of women from Eva Beresin’s family history.
